When people talk about holistic health they often mean a natural approach to health. Which is generally correct but it is just one part of the holistic approach but Holistic Health encompasses so much more.
The word Holistic comes from the Greek word "holos" which means whole, entire or complete.
So the Holistic approach, means that a truly holistic practitioner will always consider your whole life situation, including your past, just like the picture above shows.
Unfortunately, western medicine typically only looks at your acutely presenting symptoms and then decides whichever medication or procedure to prescribe. They should instead consider the whole picture to get to the root cause of the issue.
Don't get me wrong, western medicine is great to have around and it sure has advanced a lot but at the time, in my opinion, it should only be a used to gain immediate relief from pain or any other discomfort but it should not be used long term to mask symptoms with medications when there are better ways to deal with the root cause Especially since most chemical medications have destructive side effects.
If you are facing health issues that are lingering for a while or are just suppressed with medication you need to consider contacting a Professional Holistic Health Coach to get to the root of the issue and possibly help you overcome the illness causing root cause.
True Healing can only be achieved when you eliminate the root cause and that is what a real Holistic Health professional does.
